On Thursday, November 14th, Dittmar brought together 12 diverse health and wellness exhibitors from the DMV area for our first annual Employee Health Fair.
Upon entry, employees were greeted with healthy lunch to-go boxes and passports to encourage everyone to visit at least 6 exhibitors to qualify for a raffle prize drawing.
Our welcoming and enthusiastic presenters provided something for everyone! There was information on health-related topics such as stress, health care, hygiene, and excercise; and interactive booths including blood pressure, body fat/bmi, drinking goggles, vision screening, office yoga, and massage therapy. Employees were also able to learn about nutrition and pick up some healthy recipes along the way.
The event was the perfect opportunity for our employees to obtain valuable information and resources from professional health and medical organizations such as Virginia Hospital Center and Chesapeake Health. As well as to learn more about their benefits and coverage with Cigna’s health insurance plans.
